Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else think that it is strange that our California race for Governer is on European news everynight. It is very funny to watch the news from France and see the newscaster telling the people of France about the politics of California. (And think about it, it is only one of our 50 states) I can just imagine being a citizin in another country and seeing all the people from the Movies in government offices, Going back to President Regan, Hollywood is now all over our government. Movie and television stars, musicians and pro-wrestlers running for office. Honestly how much do we really think some of this people know about how the government works, much less the governments of other countries that they may have to deal with. I personally do not like the idea of a person who has never been in the military making decisions about where they will go fight... or someone who has not spent time in at least college classes in Government having a major decision in making the laws that govern us.
Really when we start to put Famous people in office, just by virtue of we really like them in some movie, and they deliver the speach that was written for them very well, it is kinda like Europe in the days of the Kings and Queens, when the Dukes and the Lords made the decisions for thier regions, because they were born into royalty... Just because someone is famous, or wealthy and maybe possibly have some good ideas (of their own), does not make them CAPABLE of holding an office and doing a good job.
You know really it is no wonder Europe laughs at some of our presidents decisions, and our govenrment... I personally like Bush, but really our elected government is often the source of our best jokes.... HOW SAD IS THAT??

My friends are always amazed by the problems I have with men.... The only problem really, because it is always the same... getting rid of them.
I have never had a problem attracting them, keeping them, having them fall in love with me.... I just can't seem to get rid of the ones I am not interested in. They flock around me and follow me like puppies. Unfortunately some have even stalked me... But why?
I'm not a supermodel, I'm not wealthy. Pretty, well I've been called "Hot" alot, but we all know we are our own worse critics, and I wouldn't call myself that.
What I have learned about men, from working in a male dominated careerfield, in a male dominated organization for many many years, and listening to them talk about women everyday, is this... they are not that difficult to understand, or attract, or keep around if that is truly what you want. Quite frankly compared to women MEN ARE EASY....
My adult life has been a soap opera of sorts, one that would make SEX IN THE CITY look like Sesame Street,
I have had many relationships, always looking for Mr. Right, often ending up with Mr. Right Now, and looking for nice way to tell him "get lost" and please lose my phone number while your at it, because the fact that you left 20 messages on my voice mail yesterday is really starting to freak me out...
so over the years, I will say it has taken a lot of practice to finally find the perfect guy, my Mr. Right, in fact it took long 2 months in a desert in Saudi Arabia to find Mr. Right, unfortunately he lives in France... but that is a story for another day.... to be continued....
